After a successfully wild Valentine's Day run & more, we had to bring it back! FINALLY, a Speed Dating event with a sense of humour! Get ready to for more mingling with all kinds of straight & queer crowds this fall!!!

RETURNING in NOVEMBER, this time for all the heterosexuals, this real Speed Dating event will be like no other you have attended. Hosted by an over-the-top character GLORIA — “world famous in parts of East Vancouver” —you will find this event both entertaining AND useful. Gloria may be over-the-hill but she is running down the other side! A showgirl in her prime, she doles out the relationship advice to anyone who doesn’t ask. It is basically stand up comedy, mixed with Saturday Night Live, mixed with actual Speed Dating!

You might just meet the love of your life….And if you don’t, you’ll have had a great time regardless. Whether you're straight, gay, bi, or anywhere on the love spectrum, our speed dating events are open to all!

The doors open at 6:30 PM, and Slow Dance Speed Dating kicks off promptly at 7 PM, concluding at 8:30 PM. Afterward, let loose at our video dance party, enjoy drinks at the bar, and explore our quirky costume sale from 8:30 PM to 10 PM.

The Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret presents a new play by Kat Single-Dain. "CALL ME CC" is a comedy starring the decline of human civilization itself. This is your chance to meet Climate Change itself, live and in person! You might regret it. But we all have to face Climate Change eventually, so may as well buy a ticket now. Finally in a form that we can relate to, CC is equal parts charming and disgusting, graceful and garish, irresistibly fun and coldly egotistical. A ‘serious comedy’, the underlying narrative of the show—humanity’s own real narrative-- is gravely serious while the show itself is an absolute ball. Never didactic or depressing, CC charms us all into thinking about her a little bit more....And deftly proves that she alone deserves the spotlight.
