Extra! Extra! The Scarlet Queen of Mercy is coming to the Rio Theatre! The imagined big comeback film of auteur Arthur Goudy, Scarlet Queen of Mercy follows Goudy as he pushes his actors and crew to the brink with his increasingly erratic behaviour. Get transported onto the set of the eponymous movie with vintage chorus lines, 1950’s film gear, musical direction from heartthrob crooner Jack Garton, and stunning original songs from Patrick Kearns and Karly Warkentin.

The Scarlet Queen of Mercy is written and directed by Kat Single-Dain, and brought to you by the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, who wowed audiences with 2011's Jesse Award-nominated "Hard Times Hit Parade."
